magazine cover

Hey guys,
please view cover and post comments asap about changes and recomendations. The title font is being changed to classical english font. Tharsh suggests a pencil sketch sans any colour would look classier and a hoodie instead of cap and top........what do you think?

(there, i said it for you avnish! :P)

i don't get the 'rantionale' font or colour, and the adam smith just looks a bit messy. like the hoody though?

I would suggest using a sans serif (without tail) font for headlines. serif fonts work too, just not overly elaborate.

serif fonts are generally used for text to guide the lines.

the idea of the hoodie is cool and original. but i think the title really has to be done with something better than wordart. look at a magazine and just copy=p. or better still, if the magazine already has a design template, choose the colours to fit the design template. complementary colours and stuff.

sorry, one more thing... i know that the name has changed and everything. given that you like the name, and want it to stick, it would be better to come up with a logo design, which you can put on the cover for EVERY issue, which helps with brand retention. it looks classier as well, whether it's the londonpaper or the economist, there's a colour you associate with it.

you can change it then as google does for special occasions.
